Additional Treatment Information
Some useful help and advice from us to you before, during and after your treatments:
Try to leave at least an hour after your breakfast or lunch before having a massage. Let your therapist know if you have any special concerns you would like addressed and let her know if the pressure is ok for you. Have a drink of water after your treatment and continue to drink herbal teas throughout the day to assist in eliminating toxins from the body.
It is normal to expect a little tenderness and soreness around the muscles that have been massaged for a few days afterwards and this is nothing to worry about.
Try to use the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi prior to your facial treatment, and not afterwards as we want the products that we have used to do their best work. Do not apply make up for 12 hours after your facial. Drink water to keep your complexion clear and avoid caffeine. Water and herbal teas are always available in our relaxation lounge for all guests. Best results are seen with regular facials and a complete skin care regime at home daily. We recommend you cleanse, tone and moisturise daily and use a mask once weekly.
Do not use a sauna, steam room or jacuzzi prior to or after any waxing treatment for 24 hours. Avoid hot baths and hot showers for the same time. Do not use perfumed body lotions or deoderant (if you've had your underarms waxed). We recommend specific after waxing lotions only. Do not use a sunbed or expose the waxed area to bright sunlight for 24 hours.
We can give you beautiful looking nails, but you must look after them! Use rubber gloves when washing up, do not immerse your hands or feet in hot water when you are wearing nail polish as it can peel or chip with prolonged heat.
